Sigfox was founded by Ludovic Le Moan and Christophe Fourtet in 2010 with a vision to connect every object in our physical world to the digital universe. The two French Founders built a global network dedicated to the Internet of Things based on low power, long range and small data that offers an end-to-end connectivity service. From the inception, Sigfox powers a sustainable and connected world, pioneering the next Internet revolution.

In just a few years, Ludovic Le Moan has raised nearly €300 million from strategic and financial investors in Europe, the U.S. and Asia to support the expansion of the Global 0G Network. He also co-founded the “IoT Valley”, Europe’s first IoT ecosystem to help start-ups accelerate the adoption of the Internet of Things.

Now present in 75 countries and regions, Sigfox is the first player to build the largest IoT ecosystem in the world, from big manufacturers to hundreds of startups and device-makers on four continents.

With a vision to help build a better planet for all, Ludovic and Christophe founded the Sigfox Foundation in the service of protecting rhinos in Africa as well as the safety of researchers in Antarctica. At the heart of the Sigfox Foundation is a mission to help protect our planet and inhabitants through innovative and inexpensive technologies.
