Precision Microdrives is an ISO 9001:2015 trusted designer and manufacturer of miniature, cost-effective, and well-engineered motors and motor mechanisms.

Our business was founded in 2004 to make sourcing of electro-mechanical mechanisms in Asia easier and more reliable for customers with more demanding applications. Since then, our customer's applications have become more demanding, and to fulfil their engineering requirements we have:

• Applied an extensive framework procedure (recently updated to support the latest ISO 9001:2015) to ensure consistent delivery of products we manufacture, 'On time and To Spec'.

• Designed our own motor products for customers,

  Motor & Mechanism Design for Application

• Improved industry standard designs to perform to a higher level of specification and work better in an application,

• Implemented an industry-leading motor and mechanism validation and testing infrastructure,

• Built and operate a value-add production line in Hong Kong which co-locates designers and production staff.

These developments enable our customers to outsource more of their motor design, validation, manufacturing, testing and quality control as a complete package.

We are an international original design manufacturer (ODM) of:

• Precision brushed DC motors and DC gear motors

• Precision brushless and stepper motors

• Precision vibration motors and haptic feedback

• Precision electro-mechanical and electronic controlled motor mechanisms and assemblies

• Precision motor/mechanism laboratory grade characterisation and testing machines

We manufacture motor and mechanism products with winding voltages up to 48V and with motor frame diameters typically less than 50mm. Our specialisation is in highly customised motor mechanisms produced in volumes of between 1k and 100k pcs per year.
